The Borealis Dark Koi is sharper, more aggressive and tougher than its opponents.

The Dark Koi has a stronger core than the regular Koi, which makes the board a lot more agressive. There is also an extra carbon strip added to the nose, so there is really nothing this board cannot get through.

Huge front rocker that will keep you above the deepest snow, flat zone for more stability, positive camber down to the tail for powerful turns.

UL Forest Core

Ultralight wood core made from FSC-certified woods (poplar, paulownia) reinforced with bamboo rods. Thinner tip and tail for reduced swing weight. Dynamic, snappy and durable.

Greenpoxy Eco-Resin

This board is assembled using the Greenpoxy Eco-Resin, made from 55+% of recycled biomass such as recycled vegetable oils and sawdust. This very low-VOC (volatile organic compound) bio-resin is a long-lasting and high-performance alternative to classic epoxy resins.

Carbon Frame

Specifically designed ultra-lightweight carbon frame placed from the front foot towards the tip of the board. The results are increased stability, improved carving abilities and higher overall performance.

DNA Bioplastic Top Sheet

Plant-based (50%) organic top Sheet with improved resistance to impacts and low snow adherence properties, allowing to slide through powder with less friction.
