Description

With storage capacity comparable to small backpack-style options, Dakine Hot Laps 5L is a capable hip pack, complete with two-liter Hydrapak® 3D lumbar reservoir and additional space to stow a gamut of gear on your rides. Its redesign now provides a fleece-lined pocket on the padded hip belt to conveniently stow a phone or sunglasses. The main compartment features organization for tools, food, and a light shell, while lower straps deploy to hold pads. Side compression straps keeps the load close as the water reservoir is emptied, and a breathable AirFlow back panel does away with hotspots and minimizes sweat.

Care

If your Dakine Hot Laps 5L bike waist bag gets dirty, we recommend hand washing with mild soap (like Nikwax Tech Wash), cold water and a soft bristle brush. If hand washing is not going to do the trick, use a front loader washing machine. To ensure your backpack doesn’t get tangled, place inside a pillowcase or mesh bag before washing. Always use cold water, mild soap and run on a gentle cycle. Never bleach your pack. Hang to dry in a warm but shady place, ensuring both inside and out are dry before storing.
