ABUS MoDrop MIPS

The MoDrop mountain bike helmet is the best companion for big mountain days, trail experiences or simply family outings. Equipped with our mountain bike-specific adjustment system and TriVider strap dispensers, this helmet offers a host of comfort-enhancing features. When riding downhill, the height-adjustable visor protects you from dangling branches. In the event of a fall, this can also prevent a direct impact on the face.

Additional safety is provided by MIPS impact protection. This is designed to protect the brain, especially if the rider’s head hits the ground at an angle during a fall. This exposes the brain to strong rotational movements that can lead to serious brain damage. With the MIPS system, a low-friction, movable plastic shell is integrated into the helmet to reduce rotation and better protect the head.
