We use the SwitzerlandMobility app to guide You, Our routes are linked to the App

The SwitzerlandMobility app is the ultimate digital companion for outdoor enthusiasts exploring Switzerland’s magnificent landscapes. This comprehensive mobile application provides access to routes across Switzerland, making it an indispensable tool for mountain bike tours and road cycling adventures throughout Our stunning Valais/Wallis region.

What is SwitzerlandMobility?

SwitzerlandMobility is Switzerland’s official mobile companion for outdoor activities, offering a complete digital solution for planning, navigating, and experiencing the country’s diverse terrain. The app showcases routes for hiking, cycling, mountain biking, skating, and canoeing during summer months, while winter options include snowshoe routes, cross-country skiing, and toboggan runs.

How It Works

The app operates on high-quality national maps from swisstopo, providing detailed cartography at scales up to 1:10,000. Key features include:

Route Discovery & Planning: Each route comes with thorough descriptions, detailed photo reports, and comprehensive information about what to expect on-site. The app integrates seamlessly with public transport information, including real-time departure times and direct links to the SBB app.

Safe Navigation: All SwitzerlandMobility routes are official and locally signposted, with current route closures and diversions updated daily. The location tracking and compass feature ensures you always know your position, with the compass aligning the map in your viewing direction for intuitive navigation.

Offline Capabilities: Through SwitzerlandMobility Plus, users can access planned tours, map sections, and route information without network reception—essential for alpine terrain where connectivity is limited.

Guiding Your Valais/Wallis Adventures

For cycling enthusiasts exploring Valais, SwitzerlandMobility serves as the perfect guide for both mountain bike and road bike tours. The region offers exceptional diversity, from the Valais Alpine Bike route that traverses 367 kilometers of spectacular singletrails, to the comprehensive Valais Cycling Tour covering 740 kilometers with 25 challenging climbs.

The app’s integration with local infrastructure makes it invaluable, providing you with information about service points, accommodations, and cultural attractions along the way. Whether navigating the challenging Alpine passes or discovering gentler valley routes, the app ensures every cyclist can confidently explore Valais’s breathtaking landscapes while staying safely on track.
